Your Dancing Brown Eyes
Your dancing dark brown eyes
Are so full of pathos and fun;
Your soft voice would a stone mesmerize
And set the heart on a run!
The curve on your lips
Adds beauty to your face;
Silently, the blood from my heart drips
And fades away without any trace!
How much I yearn for thee—
You haven't the faintest notion;
If only you could rip my bosom and see,
You'd know the problem and the solution!
With a mask, head-cap, gloved hands,
And brown eyes as you lower your gaze,
I long to play with the loose strands
And be lost forever in your maze!
Sometimes, I see your eyes dance
As you lower the scalpel down;
Mesmerized, I lovingly glance
At you, in your green gown!
Alas, that world could last forever,
And never to the present return;
For the burden is like a flowing river
Of flames, which makes me eternally burn!
For honour's sake, I hold my demons;
My fervent steps I slowly retrace.
It's like hellfire—I kill my emotions,
And with coldness, I dwell in grace.
